Garment Printing

At Buccaneer Group, we’re committed to staying at the forefront of garment printing technology, continually adopting new methods to deliver superior quality, clarity, flexibility, and durability.

We offer four primary printing techniques, each carefully selected to suit your specific needs — whether you require complex or simple designs, single or full-colour prints, and runs ranging from one-off items to several thousand units.

Our focus is on choosing the most effective and cost-efficient printing solution for every situation, ensuring your garments always look their best — without compromise.

Direct to Film (DTF) Printing

Direct to Film (DTF) printing is a modern, versatile technique that produces highly detailed and vibrant designs. The process involves printing your artwork onto a special transfer film, which is then applied directly to the fabric using an industrial heat press.

This method allows for excellent colour accuracy and fine detail, making it ideal for intricate or multi-coloured designs. DTF offers the same convenience and efficiency as vinyl or digital transfer printing, but with improved durability, flexibility, and feel on the finished garment.

Digital Transfer Printing

Digital Transfer Printing is a process that allows near-photographic reproduction of images in full colour. Designs are printed onto a single digital transfer, then applied to garments using our industrial heat presses for a smooth, professional finish.

This method delivers brilliant, vibrant results and is suitable for logos or images of any size. It’s one of our most popular printing options — ideal when you need a high-impact design that stands out with exceptional clarity and colour depth.

Vinyl Printing (CAD Cut)

Vinyl Printing, also known as CAD Cut Vinyl Printing, is a versatile technique similar to digital transfer printing but designed for simple, single or two-colour designs.

It’s most commonly used in sportswear for applying names, initials, numbers, club names, or single-colour sponsor logos. The process involves cutting the design from coloured vinyl, which is then heat-pressed onto the garment — resulting in a clean, durable, and professional finish.

Screen Printing

Screen Printing is a traditional yet highly effective method that involves pressing ink through a stencilled mesh screen to create a printed design.

This technique is widely used across many industries — from fashion to promotional merchandise — so even if the term sounds unfamiliar, you’ve almost certainly worn or used a screen-printed product before.

Sometimes referred to as serigraphy or silk screen printing, this process produces bold, long-lasting prints with vibrant colour and excellent durability, making it ideal for larger production runs or designs that demand a strong visual impact.
